As an example, we recently had an appointment with the owner of a local new-car dealership. Prior to the meeting we had an opportunity to review his current website. The home page has a bright-red, sun-glasses required, ostentatious background, only to be outdone by an audio clip of  Frank Sinatra singing in the background. Once again, this is a website for a new car dealership. It is essentially a single-page website with several links to You Tube videos of his service area and showroom. During our meeting I asked if he was happy with his current website and his response was “I think it’s Great!” I inquired as to whether he would consider the possibility of incorporating a more contemporary website design for his business, and he replied “Why what’s wrong with my current website?” Meeting over, nothing more to talk about!
